Salon Etiquette and Policies

  Scheduling

To accommodate today’s busy lifestyle we do often have same day appointments available. However, to ensure that we are able to accommodate your preferred appointment times, we ask that you schedule with as much advance notice as possible.

  Your First Visit

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. This allows you time receive an in-depth consultation and enjoy our space for the first time without feeling rushed.

  Health Considerations

Please inform us at time of scheduling of any health conditions, allergies, special needs or concerns you have. Your safety is important to us & some services may not be appropriate for certain conditions.

  Arriving Late

If you are late to your appointment you are welcome to receive whatever time is left in your appointment. Due to our tightly booked schedule we may ask you to reschedule your appointment for another day.

  Cancellation Policy

24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance or failure to show up for your appointment could result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled appointment fee.

  Age Requirements

We accept appointments for children under the age of 16 if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian during the service and have a parent or guardian signed waiver.  Children 16-18 years old are required to have a parent or guardian signed waiver and are not required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the service.

We ask that if your child is not receiving a service that they do not accompany you to your appointment. This is to ensure the safety of your child as the salon carries many different chemicals and hot tools. If your child must accompany you, you will be asked to sign a waiver.

  Sick Policy

In an effort to maintain a healthy environment, we ask that if you are sick (which includes a cold, a fever, the flu, etc.) or have the onset of symptoms of an illness that you reschedule your appointment. If you arrive for your appointment with symptoms of an illness, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment. This is for your well being as well as the health of our employees and clients.

  Cell Phone Usage

In our effort to maintain a relaxing & tranquil atmosphere for clients, we ask that all cell phones and pagers be silenced upon entering our salon. 

  Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the prices of our services and are always appreciated. All gratuities are at the client’s discretion, but are customarily 15-20% of the regular cost of service.

  Payment

Full payment is due at time of service. We accept cash, checks, credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express) & Salon Ivey gift cards.

Gift cards may be purchased for any value amount. Salon Ivey is not responsible for lost, stolen, unauthorized card use or damaged cards. Cards may be replaced if a valid card number can be provided. Replacement cards will be the value of the card at the time we receive your report of loss, card damage, theft or unauthorized use. 

  Service Satisfaction

Salon Ivey allows a 72 hour customer satisfaction period to ensure that each client has received a gratifying service. If for any reason you are displeased with your service please contact Salon Ivey as soon as possible.
